ABOUT THE SCHOOL:
Celebrating its 14th year, Lupine Community Montessori Charter School (LCMCS) is the largest Montessori school in Oregon. We are a district-sponsored public Charter School serving almost 400 students within the Portland Metro area. We offer a tuition-based Primary Program (ages 2.5-5) and a tuition-free K-8 Public Montessori program. The LCMCS campus is located in downtown Gresham, 30 minutes’ drive both from Portland and Mt Hood. Our fully implemented AMI Montessori program includes two Primary classrooms, four Younger Elementary classrooms, four Older Elementary classrooms, and a lively 70-student Adolescent program. In 2025 LCMCS purchased 2 buildings to house our Primary and Adolescent programs, and our Elementary is the entire ground floor of a building in the urban center of Civic, steps from the Max line! Lupine Community Montessori Charter School is a public Montessori community where people can connect, contribute, learn, and grow.
