ABOUT THE SCHOOL:
Centered within our purposefully designed cottage in the heart of Sellwood, Chestnut Groves Montessori Children's House strives to provide a nurturing environment for children aged 2-6 where they can experience the freedom to develop themselves to their fullest potential. Our mission is to create a community of children who learn to care peacefully for themselves, one another, and the world around them. Children spend their days enjoying freely chosen activities both indoors and out. What sets us apart is our outdoor work space and a focus on all season garden to table experiences. Our community is limited to 15 children.
