About the Position, Qualifications, and Benefits
We are seeking a full-time AMI trained Primary Guide for the 2025-2026 school year, beginning in June or August 2025. Each West Hills Primary classroom enrolls from 23-25 three through six year-old children. We closely follow the local public school year calendar, and also offer a Montessori-inspired summer program. West Hills Guides are encouraged, though not required, to work some portion of the summer.

Qualifications
Joy in teaching and learning, calm and positive manner, strong work ethic, commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred.
AMI Primary Diploma, 3-6.
At least two years experience working with children preferred.
Inclusion in Oregon Criminal Registry (background check) + completion of the Safety Set that includes CPR/First Aid.
