SunGarden Montessori, and AMI recognized school in West Linn, OR, is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team in providing essential support during the school day, aiding classrooms directly, and contributing to the smooth operation of our programs. This position, which can be part-time or full-time, involves a diverse range of responsibilities, including kitchen maintenance, classroom assistance, inventory management, and more.

Qualifications:

Experience working with preschool to kindergarten-aged children preferred.

Ability to maintain patience, respect, compassion, and confidence when working with children.

Capacity to remain calm and attentive in a busy, flexible environment.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

Enrollment in the Central Background Registry (CBR).

Valid Food Handler Card, CPR/First Aid/EpiPen certification.

Completion of 15 mandatory hours of training in child care, safety, and professional development.

Physical Demands:

Ability to engage in various physical activities, including walking, sitting, standing, lifting, and running.

Capability to lift items up to 25 pounds and occasionally assist with moving furniture or materials.


Work Environment:

Outdoor work required in various weather conditions.

Range of noise levels from quiet to loud during regular activities.
