Little Oak Montessori School is looking for an Assistant Guide to support our Elementary (1st-6th) classroom for the 2024-25 school year

Montessori training is an asset, but we are willing to train the right individual for this position.

As an Assistant Guide, you will work closely with our Lead Guide to prepare and maintain a harmonious Montessori environment. You will have opportunities to help observe student behavior and work choices, model grace & courtesy and peaceful social interactions, assist children in the development of their independence, and support and contribute to a warm and calming learning environment.

Position Details:
Start Date: August 19, 2024
Full-time Monday-Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm
CPR/First Aid certification (required within first 90 days)

Hourly wage: $21-23, depending on experience

Our ideal candidate will possess:
Experience working with Elementary aged children (6-12yr)
Ability to effectively collaborate with students, families and staff
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and effective time management
The ability to understand and work with students having a range of learning styles
Flexibility and willingness to be adaptable to the needs of students and classroom A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
