West Hills Montessori School is seeking candidates to join our team for the 2023-2024 school year! WHMS was founded in 1968 with the mission to deliver the highest quality Montessori education with a community focus. More than 50 years later, we are continuing to grow and learn through our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. 

Currently, we are looking for a nurturing, flexible, positive and dependable Toddler Classroom Assistant. If you are looking for a supportive, welcoming work environment and love kids that are 15 months to 3 years old, this is the position for you!

General Information:
Schedule: 8:15am-4:15pm, Monday-Friday
Start date: August 28, 2023

Requirements include:
Active enrollment in Oregon’s Central Background Registry
Current Infant/Child CPR & First-Aid training
Food Handler’s Certificate
Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect training (RRCAN)
Introduction to Child Care Health and Safety training (ICCHS) 
Prevention is Better Than Treatment  training (PBTT)
Foundations for Learning (FFL)

Any applicant who has not already completed the above qualifications, will have up to 30 days after their hire-date to meet these requirements.

West Hills offers a competitive compensation package for the successful applicant. Salary is commensurate to relevant early childhood and/or Montessori classroom experience.
