ABOUT THE POSITION:
Corvallis Montessori School, located in the vibrant college town of Corvallis, Oregon is currently seeking an AMI trained Primary guide to lead a new primary class opening in the fall of 2023. Corvallis Montessori School is a well established AMI Recognized Montessori school, serving families in the Willamette Valley since 1967.
Our lovely campus is tucked away in a charming neighborhood within walking distance to a plant nursery, food cooperative, and park. Each of our four primary classrooms and two toddler classrooms have beautiful outdoor extensions with mature trees, vines, and a beautiful assortment of flowering vegetation.
Corvallis is a family friendly community, with many bike paths and parks to explore. Its proximity to the Oregon coast, the Coastal and Cascade mountain ranges, and a multitude of rivers, lakes, and forests make it a nature lover’s paradise.

Our ideal candidate will have:
-AMI Primary diploma and 3-5 years of teaching experience (please note, new graduates will also be considered for the position)
-Lead Teacher Qualifications as required by the Oregon Early Learning Division
-Good organizational and time management skills
-Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
-A spirit of collaboration, flexibility, and a strong desire to bring joy into the school community.
