Little Oak Montessori School, a private school in the Columbia Gorge, is seeking an AMI-trained Elementary Guide to take the lead of a well established (1st-6th) Elementary classroom for the 2025-26 school year.

This full time position requires a vibrant, genuine personality with exceptional communication and leadership skills; ready to guide the whole child in their activities academically, spiritually, emotionally, and physically.

Qualifications:
AMI Elementary Certification Required
Bachelor’s Degree (preference given to those with a Master’s Degree and Washington State Teaching Certification)  
Experience working with Elementary aged children (6-12yrs)
Ability to effectively collaborate with students, families, staff, and board members
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and effective time management
The ability to understand and work with students having a range of learning styles
A commitment to active engagement within our Anti-Bias and Anti-Racist school community
Ability to commit to the position for a minimum of three years

Compensation: This is a full time salaried position. Pay is based on experience & knowledge.
