Little Oak Montessori School, a private school in the Columbia Gorge, is seeking an AMI-trained Children’s House Guide to take the lead of a new (3-6 year old) Children’s House classroom for the 2025-26 school year. Little Oak currently has two well established Children’s House classrooms and plans to open a 3rd Children’s House classroom in August 2025.

This full time position requires a thoughtful, genuine personality with exceptional communication and leadership skills; ready to guide the whole child in their activities academically, spiritually, emotionally, and physically.

Qualifications:
AMI 3-6 Certification Required
Bachelor’s Degree (preference given to those with a Master’s Degree and Washington State Teaching Certification)  
Experience working with Primary aged children (3-6yrs)
Ability to effectively collaborate with students, families, staff, and board members
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and effective time management
A commitment to active engagement within our Anti-Bias and Anti-Racist school community
Ability to commit to the position for a minimum of three years

Compensation: This is a full time salaried position. Pay is based on experience & training.
