Our Montessori school was established in 1978 and sits on a beautiful 6-acre campus. MSB is home to a thriving and vibrant community of dedicated staff and families invested in the education, development, and nurturing of its 180 students, ages 3 - 12.
We are looking for a support staff to join our Elementary team beginning May 16 and possibly into the 2022-2023 school year. This person must share a love of working with Elementary-aged children while balancing responsibilities between several classrooms. This position requires a calm, flexible and positive attitude as the role is dynamic in nature. This person must be an excellent communicator and able to manage independent and collaborative work with the other Elementary teachers. The main responsibilities include providing reading support to emergent readers and additional support to the teachers with children who need more attention with their day to day work in the classroom. Additional responsibilities include recess and after-school program supervision and supporting and/or teaching PE classes.
We prefer a Montessori trained individual with at least 2 years of experience working in a classroom environment yet welcome those with an interest in Montessori and desire to learn more.
•Position dates: May 13 - June 10 and possibly August 23 – June 13
•Typical hours 8:45 – 4:45, Monday – Thursday, 8:00 - 4:00 Friday (may vary to meet program needs)
•Required: Proof of vaccination and valid CPR/First Aid certification

•Hourly wage range $19.38 - $20.16 depending on experience
