The Monmouth Montessori School has been a foundation in our community for over 40 years. This year, we are expanding to open an elementary classroom. We are looking for either a Primary Guide or an Elementary Guide.  

It is preferred that the applicant be AMI trained, though that is not a requirement. We have an established primary classroom that comes with an experienced assistant, as well as a great group of children and parents. The elementary classroom will be brand new with only first and second grade children for the first year, then each year it will grow until it includes up through 6th grade.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, preparing the classroom environment and connecting the children to it, maintaining thorough record keeping of children's lessons and progress, collaboration and communication with the classroom assistant (we use observation journals to facilitate this), as well as collaboration and communication with the parents.
