ABOUT THE POSITION:

Help us usher in the next era of Childpeace!

Childpeace Montessori School is looking for an individual who is a leader by nature, passionate about education, and quick with numbers. If this sounds like you, then we want you for our Director of Finance and Operations. This is a year-round, full-time, salaried, exempt position with scheduled hours occurring primarily within campus operating hours. Childpeace offers a competitive salary structure based on qualification and a full benefits package. The salary range is $100,000 - $120,00 and is commensurate with experience.

This position will work closely with our new Head of School and administrative team, focusing on the well-being of our community members and managing daily financial and business affairs. The candidate must be able to gracefully take on a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment and regularly contribute ideas that positively affect the school. Montessori experience is not required, but prior experience with independent schools is helpful.

Like so many other businesses, the pandemic has brought some challenges for us, and an urgent aspect of this position will involve financial prioritization and forecasting post-pandemic growth. We have a strong history of consistent growth yielding great results, and are looking for a new team member that will add excitement and inspiration to our future.

Our staff are from all walks of life; some new to Childpeace and others who have been here for decades. Our Director of Finance and Operations will help foster the balance between the new ideas and valuable traditions that keep our community inspired and motivated. Additionally, the ideal candidate is passionate about DEI initiatives and has the concrete experience that will help connect our administrative team to the community and each other.
